Mary Elizabeth Cummings

Mary Elizabeth Cummings, 73, of Tunnel Hill, died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Washington (Toby) Cummings Jr.; father and mother, Robert A. and Daisy Brinkley; sister, Janie Holbrook; and brothers, Jim, Jerry and Tom Brinkley.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Anita Cummings of Tunnel Hill and Wesley and Wanda Cummings of Ranger; brothers, David, Robert and Bill Brinkley; sister, Louise Cummings; and grandchildren, Lisa Cummings, Kim Cummings, Brandon Cummings, Holly Ellis and J.W. Cummings.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Tunnel Hill with the Rev. Lillard Stringer and the Rev. Alan Ledford officiating.

Burial will be in Gordy Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m.
