Tommy Alan Hammontree

Tommy Alan Hammontree, 45, of Cohutta, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Erlanger Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Hammontree of the residence; parents, J.L. and Wilma Hammontree of Cohutta; sons, Jonathan Hammontree of Cohutta, Justin Parker and daughter, Amber Locke, both of Calhoun; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Jeff Heatherly of Cohutta; brother, Jim Hammontree also of Cohutta; and nieces, Holly and Emma Hammontree, and Lindsey Brown.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Cy Harris and the Rev. Eric Minter officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be at Smith’s Chapel Cemetery.
