Henry F. “Bud” Dyer

Mr. Henry F. “Bud” Dyer, 80, of Dalton, passed away on Dec. 5, 2010, at the residence. Bud was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Dyer; sons, James Dyer and Frank Dyer; parents, George and Tixie Dyer.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Dyer Green and Paul Green of Dalton; grandchildren, Allen and Brittany Bryant, Nacole Bryant, Kendra Bryant, Donna Ellis, Michael Dyer and Daniel Dyer; great-grandchildren, Hayden Bryant, Kenzie Bryant, Emma Bryant, Cayden Booker; a son, Joseph Dyer of Dalton; a daughter, Connie Dyer of Florida; a sister, Myrtle Foster of Resaca; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Bryant and the Rev. Kaylon Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mr. Henry F. “Bud” Dyer.
