Kathleen Baker

Ms. Kathleen Baker, 77 of Dalton, passed away on Saturday morning, Sept. 1, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.

Kathleen was born on May 26, 1935, in Chatsworth. She was a member of Chatsworth Church of God where she enjoyed worshipping and singing in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Eula Burger and a sister, Imajean Lynn.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Billy Morris Sr. of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Thelma Lynn of Paxton, Fla., James and Joyce Lynn of Dalton, Rocky Busby of Dalton and Dale and Edith Busby of Chatsworth; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral to celebrate the life of Ms. Kathleen Baker will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Parker and the Rev. Robert Clark officiating.

Michael Gibson, Jeff Gibson, Billy Morris Jr., Tony Bright, Russell Owenby and Scott Wheeler will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will be at Casey Springs Cemetery in Chatsworth.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday.
