Sara ‘Jane’ Spivey



Mrs. Sara “Jane” Spivey, 83, formerly of Dalton, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, in Bartlesville, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Huston White and Melvin White; two brothers, Harry White and Trammell White; also her first husband, William Roy Slate.

She was divorced from her second husband, L.D. Spivey, also deceased.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Slate Tilyard, and her husband, Doug, Bartlesville, Okla.; a son, Doug Spivey, Tallahassee, Fla.; six grandchildren, Tiffany Tilyard, Oklahoma City, Okla., Kelsey Tilyard, Bartlesville, Okla., Alan Spivey, Tallahassee, Fla., David Spivey, Daytona, Fla., Dexter Spivey, Tallahassee, Fla., and Lisa Spivey, Tallahassee, Fla.; two great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to be in Dalton at a future date.
