Joyce Ann Fonville

Mrs. Joyce Ann Fonville, 47, of Dalton, departed this life Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Joyce was born March 13, 1965, in Greenville, S.C., a daughter of the late Donald and Susie Brown Dean.

She is survived by her son, Logan Davis of Calhoun; daughters and sons-in-law, Trista and Jimmy Holmes of Rentz, and Courtney and Daniel Arnold; brother, Gary Dean of Dalton; grandchildren, Breanna, Audry and Adison; niece and nephew, Mendy and Anthony Messer of Grey Court, S.C.; and special friends and father of her son, James and Michelle Davis of Calhoun.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joyce Ann Fonville will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Scott Parrish and Pastor Gladys Skyles officiating.

She will be laid to rest at the Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m.

At Joyce’s request, in lieu of flowers, make donations to the family at the funeral home.
