Jack Sellers, 78, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at his residence.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Tate Sellers of the residence; daughter, Carolyn Ford of Bossier City, La.; sons, David A. Tate of Palmer, Tenn., Michael A. Tate of Adairsville, James W. Tate of Scottsdale, Ariz., Eric Jackson Sellers Jr. of Rock Spring and William James Sellers of Palmdale, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be at Varnell Cemetery.
