Maggie Green McHan

Mrs. Maggie Green McHan, 77, of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Chatsworth Health Care.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Taylor (Hoss) McHan; her mother, Pearl Mae Green; her father, Thomas Clyde Green; a sister, June Green Ballew; brothers, Alton Green and Rabon Green; a sister-in-law, Maria Green.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Marty McHan of Chatsworth, Terry and Amanda McHan of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Jesse Griffis of Cohutta, Anita Pittman and Robert Young of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Casey and Travis Stafford, Katie Pittman, Lakota Griffis, McKayla McHan, Latasha McHan and Brittany McHan; great-grandchildren, Taylor May Stafford, Ryan Stafford and Shaun Stafford; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Reba Green of Cleveland, Tenn., Charles Green of Chatsworth; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Maggie will be 11 a.m. on Monday in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.

Interment will be in the Free Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.
