Ida Mae Bryant, 84, of the Deep Springs Community, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bryant; parents, Harlan Griffith and Elizabeth Wattenbarger Griffith; sisters, Lucille Griffith Hicks and Willie Grace Griffith; brothers, Robert Griffith, Clyde Wilson Griffith; nephews, Robert Jefferson Hicks and Perry Jerome Hicks.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Archie and Kenny Bryant, Chris and Rhonda Bryant, all of the Deep Springs Community; grandchildren, Hailey and Shane Stanley of Lafayette, Colby Bryant of the Deep Springs Community; great-grandchildren, Bryant and Cohutta Stanley of Lafayette; nephew, Ricky Hicks; niece, Dorothy Capps; sister-in-law, Dollie Griffith; several great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bryant will be held Friday at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Ministers Ronnie Missildine and Ross Jordan officiating. Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Central Church of Christ building fund.
