Mrs. Guadalupe Rodriguez Luna, 68 of Dalton, departed this life on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Luna was born on Dec. 30, 1941, in Mexico, daughter of the late Juaquin and Bieatris Rodriguez.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jose De Jesus Luna of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Luna, Armando and Pilar Luna, Rolando Luna, all of Dalton; brothers, Guillermo Rodriguez of Michigan, Manuel Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez of Mexico; sisters, Bertha Rodriguez, Maria De Jesus Rodriguez, Martha Rodriguez all of Texas; 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Guadalupe R. Luna will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Montgomery and the Rev. Jose Vasquez officiating. Mrs. Luna will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. on Monday.
