Tandus promotes Grogan to COO

Dalton-based Tandus, a commercial floorcoverings manufacturer, has promoted Ralph Grogan to chief operating officer. For the past three years, Grogan has been the senior vice president for Tandus.

In his new role, Grogan will continue to build on Tandus’ three product brands, C&A;, Monterey and Crossley, in addition to maintaining the development of the business globally.

“Ralph’s leadership influences our business globally and across functions as we make strides to gain market shares in all major segments that we serve,” said Glen Hussmann, Tandus chief executive officer and president. “I’m proud to be working with Ralph and we’re lucky to have him on our team.”

Grogan began his career with Tandus in 2002 as president of its Monterey brand and has gained extensive commercial floorcovering experience in sales, marketing, operations and product development. In his new position, Grogan will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Dalton.

“I look forward to my new role at Tandus and am excited to carry forward our strong reputation for design excellence and sustainability,” Grogan said. “I am proud to be a part of such a forward-moving organization, such as Tandus.”
