Chamber plans annual breakfast event

Thursday morning, January 10, area Legislators will give an overview of the upcoming Georgia General Assembly for the Chamber's annual "Good Morning Dalton” breakfast. The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the NorthWest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. The cost is $12.00 for Chamber members and $20.00 for non-members. Reservations can be made by calling the Chamber office at 706-278-7373 or online at www.daltonchamber.org.

Speakers will include Representatives Roger Williams, Tom Dickson and Ron Forster and Senator Don Thomas. Representative Ron Forster represents District 3 and he serves on the following committees: Appropriations, Insurance, Chairman of Interstate Cooperation, and Secretary of Public Utilities and Telecommunications. Representative Roger Williams represents District 4 and he serves on Appropriations, Industrial Relations and is Chairman of the Regulated Industries committee.

Representative Tom Dickson represents District 6 and serves on the following committees: Economic Development and Tourism, Education and is Secretary of Regulated Industries.

Senator Don Thomas serves the 54th District and serves on the following committees: Appropriations, Secretary of Education and Health and Youth, Ethics, Chairman of Health and Human Services, Rules, and Ex-Officio of Science and Technology.
