A “Cleanup and Beautification Day” will be hosted by the Murray County Chapter of the American Red Cross on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the office on 211 W. Fort St. in Chatsworth. Volunteers are needed to help plant roses, spread mulch and clean and restock emergency response vehicles.
“This community service event will be a great day to learn about the Red Cross and make new friends,” said program coordinator Helen Costner.
For more information call Costner at (706) 695-7605 or register at the Web site www.volunteernwga.org/volunteer.
