A Chatsworth man died Sunday following a two-vehicle wreck in Murray County.
Murray County Coroner Larry Ballew said William Reed West, 43, passed away at Hamilton Medical Center after the crash at Ga. Highway 225 North and McEntire Circle near Northwest Elementary School. The wreck happened at about 1:25 p.m. One person was taken to Hamilton, and another was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. A Georgia State Patrol dispatcher said on Monday that a report on the crash was not immediately available.
The family of West will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory in Chatsworth on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
