Having illegal drugs in your possession can obviously get you thrown in jail, but so can having any sort of device or instrument associated with them.
According to a provision in the Georgia code (section 16-13-32.2), it’s unlawful for any person to “use or possess with intent to use” anything for planting, cultivating, manufacturing, injecting or otherwise taking or preparing marijuana or a controlled substance. Examples include, but are not limited to, needles and pipes.
Commit the crime and you’re guilty of a misdemeanor.
