Whitfield County law enforcement officials were still searching late Monday night for a suspect in a reported armed robbery at La Esquinita at 2510 Antioch Road.
The call came in to 911 shortly after 8 p.m. Officers were searching areas near the business and Abutment Road.

‘It was a brutal time’

Dr. William Blackman opened a box of tools consisting of medical instruments, including a saw, and proceeded to tell visitors how they were used more than a century ago to amputate limbs for soldiers wounded on the battlefield.
