The North Georgia Fairgrounds will be the site of hot cars, cool trucks and mighty motorcycles at the fifth annual MotorMania on Saturday, Sept. 25. Proceeds from the annual auto show benefit The GreenHouse, the child advocacy center serving sexually and physically abused children in Whitfield and Murray counties.
In addition to the awesome display of modern and classic vehicles there will be raffles, live entertainment, door prizes, a swap meet and children’s activities. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the rain date is Sunday, Sept. 26.
MotorMania, according to GreenHouse Board President Charlie Eicholtz, was created as a major fundraiser for The GreenHouse because it is a family-oriented event that includes children and families. “The board chose a car, truck and motorcycle show because both adults and children love cars, trucks and motorcycles of all shapes, colors and sizes. Auto shows bring people of all ages and interests together. It’s a child-friendly, family-oriented environment which promotes the values and mission of The GreenHouse as we assist children with their efforts to learn to trust and play again.”
Those interested in knowing more can contact The GreenHouse at (706) 278-4769 or visit the MotorMania website at www.motormania.us.
