Murray County High School is celebrating homecoming this week. The theme this year is “A Murray Masquerade.”
The homecoming parade will be today at 4 p.m. on Highway 411 in downtown Chatsworth. Halftime festivities tonightl include recognition of past queens, including Priscilla Keith McCree (1962), Susan Ellis Ridley (1972), Kim Ridley Craven (1982), Stephanie Belcher Knuckles (1992) and Andi Hogan Jones (2002).
Jessica Carroll and Blade LeQuire — the 2011 queen and king — will crown the 2012 queen and king. The sash bearer is Ava Robinette, daughter of Keith and Tara Robinette. The crown bearer is Carter Greeson, son of Phillip and Angela Greeson.
