As part of the Special Olympics Georgia 2012 State Fall Games, some downtown Dalton streets will be closed Saturday morning to accommodate bicycle races. The roads will close at 8:45 a.m. and will re-open as soon as the races are complete.
The affected roads are:
• Pentz Street: Closed from Cuyler Street to Waugh Street.
• Waugh Street: Outside eastbound lane closed from Krystal to the Waugh Street Bridge (including access to Hamilton Street).
• Cuyler Street: Closed from Hamilton Street to Pentz Street.
• Gordon Street: Closed from Glenwood Avenue to Pentz Street.
• Crawford Street: Closed from Hamilton Street to Selvidge Street.
• King Street: Closed from Hamilton Street to Selvidge Street.
