The Highland Rivers Community Service Board will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 10 a.m. in the Highland Rivers Gordon County Mental Health Center at 320 N. River St. in Calhoun.
The meeting, which is open to the public, was rescheduled from Dec. 15. The Executive Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m., the Corporate Compliance Committee at 9 a.m. and the Finance Committee at 9:30 a.m.
Highland Rivers Center offers treatment and support services for adults and children affected by mental health disorders, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases in several counties, including Whitfield and Murray.

VARNELL — A woman who knows fugitive Adolph Ray “Sonny” Neal — wanted in the deaths of his wife and her grandfather a week ago today — said she shouted, “Oh my God, it’s him!” as she and her husband traveled south on Ga. Highway 201 Wednesday afternoon.
