The Boys and Girls Clubs of Gordon, Murray and Whitfield Counties has hired a new director of development. Jason Finnell will lead the clubs’ fundraising efforts.
Finnell is a native of Chattanooga and a 2000 graduate of McCallie High School where he was a three-time state wrestling champion. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has a master’s degree from Bryan College.
Finnell worked for McCallie High School where he was a major gifts officer for the past four years. He has relocated to the Dalton area.
Finnell will lead Boys and Girls Clubs efforts in annual giving, special events, planned giving and overall marketing.
“We are excited to have Jason join the BGCGMW organization,” said Robbie Slocumb, chief professional officer. “His experience with annual campaigns, special events and fundraising with help Boys and Girls Clubs continue to grow and impact more youth in the North Georgia area.”
