• Angel Urael Cruz, 27, 993 Davenport Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, open container in vehicle, expired driver’s license and expired tag.
• Mark Anthony Edwards, 32, 2662 Roberts Circle, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with willful obstruction of an officer by threat and felony interference with government property.

VARNELL — A woman who knows fugitive Adolph Ray “Sonny” Neal — wanted in the deaths of his wife and her grandfather a week ago today — said she shouted, “Oh my God, it’s him!” as she and her husband traveled south on Ga. Highway 201 Wednesday afternoon.
