• Justin Matthew Persinger, 19, 798 Bermuda St., K1, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with false imprisonment, simple battery, simple battery (family violence), possession of alcohol by a minor and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
• Candice Paulette Williamson, 42, 607 Tremont St., Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with open container of alcohol and DUI.
• Brian Dylan Brooks, 17, 3492 Lower Gordon Springs Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of alcohol by a minor, DUI, a license violation and failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Misty Dawn Esquivel, 29, 434 Cohutta Beaverdale Road, Cohutta, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule IV drug, driving on a suspended license and a headlight violation.
• Roxanne Nicole Leineger, 28, 2819 Lyle Lane, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and operating a vehicle without a proper tag.
• Javier Rojas, 40, 310 Abby Court, F11, Bilouxi, Miss., was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with open container of alcohol, DUI, driving on a suspended license and a headlight violation.
