Calhoun Police have arrested a suspect in the Nov. 2 robbery of Georgia Bank & Trust, 135 W.C. Bryant Parkway.
Kevin West, 44, of Gilmer County, was arrested late Thursday in Rocky Face, according to CPD investigator Tony Pyle. No further details were immediately available.
According to earlier reports, a lone male entered the bank on the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 2, and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect then pulled a handgun and told the teller not to bring attention to him or he would start shooting. The bank teller complied and the subject left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
