The Dalton Police Department has arrested Jesus Salazar Guerrero of 622 Fifth Ave. in connection with a woman being found injured in the middle of Emery Street early this morning, the department said in a press release. He is being charged with hit and run, failure to render aid and reckless conduct.
The woman, 21-year-old Amanda Dawn Hernandez of 612 Stone St., was taken to Hamilton Medical Center, the department said. Police received the call at 6:24.
