SCHEDULE CHANGE: Haunted Egg Hunt rescheduled

The Haunted Egg Hunt scheduled for tonight at Edwards Park in Whitfield County has been rescheduled for Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. because of the weather.

Sheriff: Murders were ‘crime of passion’

Two homicides in Dawnville early Thursday morning were a “crime of passion” and the suspect who is still on the loose is “dangerous,” Whitfield County Sheriff Scott Chitwood said at a press conference Friday afternoon.
