RossWoods now in charge of adult day services
Hamilton Medical Center has officially turned over the operation of adult day services to RossWoods.
For 12 years, Hamilton Adult Day Health Services, a department of Hamilton Medical Center, provided care for adults who required supervision or needed assistance in order to give the caregiver a break or allow the caregiver to remain in the work force. Under the direction of executive director Carla Jones, RossWoods begins a new chapter in adult day services for Dalton and the surrounding communities.
More than five years ago the RossWoods Board of Directors was established to build a new facility which would be totally supported by local citizens and the area business community. This dream is now a reality as the November opening is weeks away.
The RossWoods open house will be Sunday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. This will be a chance for the community to see firsthand the careful attention to design and delivery of care that has gone into making this building a new landmark for Dalton.
“Families can rest assured that a new name and a new look will not change the family type environment and exceptional professional care which every participant deserves and every family expects,” said Steve Pound, vice president of Hamilton Medical Center. “I feel strongly that RossWoods Adult Day Services will far exceed our expectations. Ms. Jones and her dedicated team will continue to provide care with excellence and our community will continue to be the leader in adult day care for North Georgia.”
