Hamilton Medical Center holds an informational and fellowship event for local clergy on Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the hospital’s Mensa (located outside of the cafeteria on the service level).
Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., and an optional tour of Hamilton Medical Center will begin at 10 a.m. The event is centered on the spiritual side of healing.
“Hamilton appreciates those who care about others,” said Jennifer Johnson, outreach manager for Hamilton. “We’re working with our local ministers by providing resources and having an opportunity for communication and fellowship.”
The event includes discussions on infection prevention and other things to consider when visiting patients, Medline Plus (health information from the National Library of Medicine and Blood Assurance) and how to host a blood drive. Door prizes will be given to participants.
Space is limited. RSVP by calling (706) 272-6114. The deadline to register is Wednesday.
