• Eric Alphonso Jackson, 58, 3403 Tarlton Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane and possession of cocaine.
• Payton Wayne Jones, 22, 761 Keith Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of arms by a convicted felon/first offender probation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during the commission of a crime and probation violation.
• Billy Joe Henderson, 40, 327 Zion Hill Church Road, Lot N, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving while license suspended, open container in vehicle, duty upon striking fixture and DUI (second offense).
• David Ray Nunley, 47, 104 James St., Resaca, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
• Michael Ryan Pino, 31, 1410 N. Maximuth Road, East Ridge, Tenn., was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

DSC professor charged with more child sex abuse counts
A tenured Dalton State College professor who was charged with one count of child molestation last week had additional child sex charges related to other victims added on Wednesday, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.
