• Preston Drew Brown, 20, 3820 41st Ave., Naples, Fla., was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with following too closely, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
• Jodean Suzanne Danylko, 35, 1170-B Whittle Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
• Megan Nicole Gordon, 17, 919 Nottingham Drive, Naples, Fla., was charged Tuesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
• Benjamin Phillip Hoogland, 21, 788 Park Shore Drive, Apt. E-15, Naples, Fla., was charged Tuesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana by bringing within the guard line.
• David Harold Story, 65, 156 Valley Point Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with interference with a 911 call, second degree cruelty to children and battery.
• Ricky Lamar Talley, 48, 112 Cameron Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI (second offense), possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving while license withdrawn (second offense), no insurance (second offense), affixing license plate to conceal identity, failure to maintain lane, windshield and wipers violation, open container in vehicle, failure to appear and probation violation.
• Joshua David Stanley, 30, 1272 Quarles Road, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation and failure to register as a sex offender.

Two homicides in Dawnville early Thursday morning were a “crime of passion” and the suspect who is still on the loose is “dangerous,” Whitfield County Sheriff Scott Chitwood said at a press conference Friday afternoon.
