• Rebecca Eilene Vaughn, 20, 4159 Highway 225 N., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by deception.
• Randy Alan Williams, 27, 1542 Boyles Mill Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.
• Bradley Jonah Asher, 28, 1312 Lower Tails Creek Road, Ellijay, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of oxycodone and possession of hydrocodone.
• Bart Mike Crawford, 31, 617 Charger Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possessions of arms by a convicted felon/first offender probation violation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• Billy Gene Mathis Jr., 37, 1103 N. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

Shugart to feature traffic control devices
The Dalton Public Works Department will install new traffic control devices on Shugart Road near the North Dalton Bypass and Tampico Way Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
