• Sandra Ann Lee, 46, 119 Mary Lane, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with deposit account fraud.
• Jeffery Vann Miller, 44, 150 Hayes Hill Road, Decatur, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving stolen property and financial transaction card fraud.
• Michael Lee Piscitelli, 20, 309 Crown St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery (family violence), false imprisonment (family violence) and carrying a concealed weapon.
• Wyvonna Rae Slone, 30, 10753 Highway 225 N., Crandall, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
• Lauren Alexandra Cochran, 18, 2888 Johnny Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of alprazolam.
• Raul Alvarez Rangel, 22, 304 N. Spencer St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with too fast for conditions, driving while license withdrawn, DUI (third offense), headlights violation, bad tires and probation violation (two counts).

DSC professor charged with more child sex abuse counts
A tenured Dalton State College professor who was charged with one count of child molestation last week had additional child sex charges related to other victims added on Wednesday, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.
