Area Arrests for March 15

• Timothy Ray Vanmeter, 46, 556 Shields Road, Crandall, was charged on March 9 by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault family violence.

• Aubrey Blake Williams, 17, 651 Cherokee Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Jacob Anthony Buttram, 26, 1055 Erwin Church Hill Road, Calhoun, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with computer pornography child exploitation, criminal attempt aggravated child molestation, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of methamphetamine crossing the jail guard line.

• Brandon Omar Weaver, 22, 1100 Foster St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with parole violation and giving false information.

• Johnny Blair Caldwell, 39, 2449 North Briar Circle, Chattanooga, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of marijuana and driving while license was withdrawn.

• Tamara Lashun Passley, 31, 219 Landon Court Apt. 12B, Calhoun, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with forgery in the first degree.

• Jeffrey Scott Bigham, 43, 421 Hooven Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving a truck in the left lane of a multi-lane highway, DUI and expired tag.

• Rigoberto Lemus Posada, 31, 401 Water St., Dalton was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to yield right of way, failure to drive within a single lane, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

• Larry Craig Reece, 29, 1775 Lower Kings Bridge Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Lisa Louise Taylor, 39, 203 Shady Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.
