• David Nathaniel Drain, 20, 234 Orange Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with illegal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault and cruelty to children-third degree.
• Zachary Dale Larmon, 48, 434 Cohutta-Beaverdale Road, Cohutta, was charged Friday by the Varnell Police Department with failure to drive within a single lane, DUI, open container in vehicle and possession of marijuana.
• Kimberly Dawn Rowe, 45, 601 Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by deception, identity theft and deposit account fraud.
• Claude Travis Simpson, 30, 172 Court St., Calhoun, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule 4 drug and drugs not in original container.
• Skylar Keith Caldwell, 20, 502 Saxon Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, underage consumption and failure to drive within a single lane.
• Gary David Deaton, 43, 3375 Chestnut Gap Road, Blue Ridge, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of Lortab, possession of Xanax and DUI.
• Ashley Lashay Derringer, 18, 2153 Cool Springs-Holly Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, obstruction of an officer and underage consumption.
• Gregory Alex Petrie, 19, 161 Dawnville Meadows, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with underage consumption and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
