To Amend Chapter 106 Of The 2001 Revised Code Of The City Of Dalton Captioned “Taxation”; By Striking, Deleting, And Repealing Article II Captioned “Hotel-Motel Tax” In Its Entirety And Substituting In Lieu Thereof A New Article II Captioned “Hotel-Motel Tax”; To Provide For An Effective Date; To Provide For The Repeal Of Conflicting Ordinances; To Provide For Severability; And For Other Purposes.

A. Ordinance – First Reading:

(1) Ordinance 08-07

To Amend The Zoning Ordinance Of The City Of Dalton, Georgia By Amending Article III Captioned "Definitions Of Terms Used In This Ordinance"; By Amending Section 3-2 Captioned "List Of Definitions"; By Striking The Definition of Family And Substituting In Lieu Thereof A New Definition Of Family; To Provide For An Effective Date; To Provide For Repeal Of Conflicting Ordinances; To Provide For Severability; And For Other Purposes.



B. Resolution between the City of Dalton and the Georgia Department of

Natural Resources for a $1,500 grant for historic West Hill Cemetery.
