• John Wesley Blaney, 40, General Delivery, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Varnell Police Department with theft by taking-motor vehicle.
• Brian Tay Hogg III, 21, 229 Atlantic Ave., Shreveport, La., was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with carrying a concealed weapon, reckless conduct, discharging a firearm in city, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and carrying pistol without a license.
• Thomas Russel McCracken, 44, 905 Jackson Lake Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, too fast for conditions and improper passing.
• Justin Eric Woodard, 28, 4194 Old Dixie Highway, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with obtaining controlled substance by misrepresentation, identity theft, first degree forgery and deposit account fraud (two counts).
• Renee Bishop Calhoun, 44, 60 Countryside Drive, Crandall, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to drive within single lane.
• Emme Nicole Dunaway, 19, 145 Lytle Road, Rossville, was charged Saturday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of a drug-related object and driving while license withdrawn.
• Diane Mcdearis Reynolds, 61, 335 Mount Vernon Drive, Calhoun, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.
