BREAKING NEWS: Mohawk Industries to close Fort Oglethorpe plant

From Staff Reports The Dalton Daily Citizen Tue Sep 30, 2008, 04:42 PM EDT

Calhoun-based Mohawk Industries will close a plant at 365 Patterson Ave. in Fort Oglethorpe by the end of November, resulting in about 230 employees losing their jobs.

Mohawk Industries is the world’s largest floorcovering manufacturer.
