From Staff Reports
Not sure how to get a Whitfield County building permit? Curious how much a ride is on the county’s bus system? Want to stay updated on projects throughout the county?
Free booklets containing information about the county are now available at the entrances of the county courthouse and Administration Building No. 1, 301 W. Crawford St. The booklets will soon be available at the Dalton-Whitfield Chamber of Commerce, Joint Development Authority, North Georgia Trade and Convention Center and the Dalton-Whitfield Library.
The booklets provide information, phone numbers and e-mail addresses for many county services. Information will be updated about every six months to reflect current information. The booklets will also be helpful for residents new to the area and those who are not “web savvy,” county administrator Bob McLeod said.
“This is just one more way to get information out to the public,” McLeod said.
The county’s Web site is www.whitfieldcountyga.com.
