Former Varnell chief city probation officer Bill Morgan qualified on Friday for the Nov. 4 special election for mayor of Varnell. Dan Peeples and James Anderson qualified earlier in the week.
Qualifying ended Friday.
The special election will fill the unexpired term of former mayor Lindsey Metcalf, who stepped down earlier this year. That term ends at the end of 2009.
