Murray Health Board
The Murray County Board of Health will meet today at 1 p.m. in the county health department conference room.
Whitfield Commissioners
The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session tonight at 6. Commissioners, members of the recreation steering committee and representatives from MACTEC (an Atlanta-based engineering firm) will discuss a report on the possibility of converting the Westside landfill into a recreation park.
The meeting is open to the public and will be in administrative building No. 2 at 214 W. King St.
Dalton Utilities board
The board of Dalton Utilities meets today at noon in the utility’s board room.
The board is scheduled to hear a finance report and a CEO’s report. The latter will include project updates, an update on the drought and the state water plan and an update on the Mill Creek wastewater plant.
The meeting is open to the public.
Dalton school board
The Dalton Board of Education will hold a meeting today at 7:30 a.m. to consider approval of Dalton High School addition construction bids.
