• Brent Alton Ponders, 33, 8012 Boston Lane, Hixson, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
• Rita Sue Moore, 41, 13 Norton Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with false statements, giving false information or a false name and obstruction of an officer.
• Anthony Lee Morgan, 21, 4411 Trailwood Drive, Cohutta, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence), aggravated stalking (family violence), battery, criminal trespass and simple assault.
• Sabas Moreno Romero, 19, 1508 Bay Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, speeding, failure to drive within a single lane, no insurance and driving without a license.
• Agustin Hernandez Hernandez, 45, 324 Goodwill Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI (less safe), a seat belt violation, impeding traffic flow, driving with a withdrawn license and open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
