Cruise-ins back downtown Dalton today
The Downtown Dalton Cruise-ins will begin again today. The cruise-ins are the second Saturday of each month from April through October and will return this year to Hamilton Street.
Organizers say several shops and restaurants will be open and a local disc jockey will play favorite oldies tunes.
The event, from 5 to 10 p.m., is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors. It is sponsored by the Dalton Street Machines Car Club and the Downtown Dalton Development Authority.
