Area Arrests for March 17
• Derrick Charles Benson, 53, 302 Bogles St., A, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with reckless conduct, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
• Keisha Lynne Briner, 44, 3033 Little Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of a schedule III drug, drugs out of original container, following too closely, failure to change address on drivers license and DUI.
• Benito Garcia Diaz, 48, 1125 Vance Road, Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with following too closely, DUI, driving without a license and open container of alcohol.
• Jose Arce Mendoza, 50, 410 Roberts St., Apartment 11, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and driving without a license.
• Alexander Miguel, 20, 3005 Fourth Ave., Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with a turning violation, underage consumption, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, DUI and driving without a license.
