Shaw Industries Group and the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Office of Textiles and Apparel will host a sustainable manufacturing practices event in Dalton on Friday with a stop in Cartersville.
Titled “Enhancing U.S. Competitiveness of the Carpet Industry by Addressing Sustainability Challenges in Local Supply Chains,” it will include a roundtable discussion with Department of Commerce officials and carpet industry sustainability leaders and a tour of manufacturing plants in the carpet industry and supply chain to showcase “best practices.”
It is not open to the public.
