The Dalton City Council voted 4-0 on Tuesday to approve a contract with Dalton’s Estes & Williams for auditing services for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. The contract will pay the firm fees and expenses of no more than $85,000 a year.
Mayor David Pennington also read a proclamation from the council during its meeting recognizing Sept. 21 as World Alzheimer’s Day.
