Restaurant report card — Whitfield County

Whitfield County Environmental Health conducts inspections of restaurants every three months. The inspectors may require a re-inspection. Restaurants are required by law to post their most recent inspection permit.

The Daily Citizen lists areas where the establishments are out of compliance with the regulations.



Dalton-Whitfield Senior Center, 302 Cappes St.

Submerge cloths in sanitizer when not in hand. Service Ansul.

Foods in cooler were not dated. Date foods with prep date and use-by date. No sanitizer found in cloth bucket. Maintain 100 ppm chlorine. Soiled rags in vegetable sink. The sink is only for washing fruits and vegetables. Do not store in-use utensils in still water. Chlorine test strips required. Clean floors and walls. Keep window closed. Change out paper in fly zapper.
