The board of Dalton Utilities on Monday re-elected Tom Pendley chairman, Cathy Holmes vice chairman and Todd Reigel secretary.
Board members also ratified a $1.885 million upgrade of the East Dalton-Loopers Farm electric line. The work will be performed by Georgia Power.
And board members voted to extend the utility’s Internet contract with Georgia Public Web for three years. The contract includes increased bandwidth and renegotiated rates that officials say will save Dalton Utilities $97,632 over the life of the contract.
