Snow in the forecast

The National Weather Service says there is a slight chance of some snow tonight for Dalton, and a chance of snow also Saturday night. The chance of precipitation is 20 percent tonight and 30 percent Saturday night.

Today’s forecast for Dalton calls for a 20 percent chance of rain after 3 p.m., with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 60. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Tonight, the National Weather Service is calling for a slight chance of rain, mixing with snow after 9 p.m., then gradually ending. The low is expected to be around 30.

On Saturday, the forecast calls for a 20 percent chance of rain after 4 p.m. with partly sunny conditions and a high near 41. A Northwest wind is expected from 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday night, there is a chance of rain and snow before 7 p.m., then a chance of snow between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., with the low around 23.

Sunday during the day is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 45, with Sunday night partly cloudy with a low around 30.
