A man who held the employees of a massage parlor at gunpoint and bound and gagged them while robbing them late Tuesday night is being sought by the Dalton Police Department.
The incident happened at approximately 10 p.m. at the GQ Spa at 2217 Chattanooga Road. The suspect got a massage from one of the employees and then produced a stainless steel semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the three women working in the spa. He took $140 cash from one of the women.
Before he left the business on foot he tied the women up with plastic zip ties and gagged them with white masks.
The suspect is described as a black male standing between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches tall with short, balding hair and a short, thin beard. He was wearing a white Hawaiian-type shirt with floral print and a white floppy hat with dark stripes.
He was recorded by the spa’s surveillance cameras.
