DALTON — The Dalton Fire Department will be conducting tests on fire hydrants throughout the city to test water flow this week, said public information officer Bruce Frazier.
“Crews will be operating on city streets at different times of the day, and even during nighttime hours in high traffic areas,” he said. “While the flows are being tested, temporary lane closures are possible on busier streets to ensure the safety of our firefighters, but they should only last for a few minutes.”
